Welcome to St Joseph's Parent and Teachers Association section.

The PTA aims to support the school and develop good relationships between parents and teachers. We organise two fairs every year and various other social and fundraising events such as the school discos, bingo/quiz nights, a talent show and an annual camping weekend in the school field! Hopefully we all have a bit of fun whilst raising funds to extend the learning activities and facilities for the children. Funds raised have contributed to the log trail, the picnic benches in the play area, a variety of school workshops - drumming, theatre, storytelling - and residential trips for the older children.

The PTA is a registered charity run by a committee of parents and staff elected in the Autumn term. The committee is made up of a chair, secretary and treasurer, the head teacher, a teacher representative and 4-8 parents. However, we wouldn't be able to raise the funds that we do without the support of everyone at the school teachers, parents and children who help at events.

As a parent of a child at St Joseph's you are a member of the PTA and are welcome to attend committee meetings (you don't have to be on the committee). If you would like to come along or would like to help at events please contact the chair or secretary via the school office or at the school gate.
